WASPA rankings of November 2021

Dear friends, November has been a very busy month for the WASPA ranking but we are please dto finally send you the updates results and statistics.

Justin Finch from England was the special guest of the South African championships

We have had this month:

- the National championships in South Africa and for the first time also a tournament with the old rules in Johannesburg;

- action in the new clubs of Dudley-Kingswinford and Sport Vale TFC (England);

- regular meets in Terni (Italy);

- David Wouters winning two events in Antwerp, Belgium;

- the club of Firenze (Italy) playing twice under WASPA banner;

- our Dutch friends in Gouda hosting another tournament;

- some events in the West of Belgium with good turnouts at the events run by the clubs of Tournai and Templeuve;

- Melbourne players back in action in both Western Flickers and Melbourne TFC;

- a tournament in Swiss system in Sydney but also events in other Australian cities uch as Perth and Brisbane;

- 8 players having a great night of play in Derry, Northern Ireland;

- several events organized by the North Shields club (England), Liverpool (TSC (England), North East Midlands SSL (England) and London Road (Wales);

- the USA back in the circuit with a tournament run in Denver, Colorado;

- a fantastic Roy Holden trophy in Wolverhampton (England) with a fantastic field of 22 players.

The leaders of the rankings didn't change this month so the current leaders are now:

- Alan Lee (individual ranking)

- Brian Daley (season ranking)

- Ruby Matthews (junior ranking)

- England (nations)

- London Road Subbuteo Club (top clubs section)

- SC Terni 2014 (Development league)

- London Road Subbuteo Club (junior clubs section)

Former FISTF Sports Director Eric Naszalyi paid a visit to the Templeuve club in Belgium

All your ideas to make the WASPA circuit more attractive are more than welcome. Don't hesitate to send your feedback. We also hope to see more and more clubs running events under WASPA banner in the future.
