We are happy to see Sydney TFC hosting their Christmas Cup. The tournament was held last week with a great turnout of 14 players who where divided into 2 groups of 3 and 2 groups of 4 players. here is the report from the club official Facebook page:
"Really nice to see players coming back to the game after few years of inactivity and also good to see new faces taking part and adding into our subbuteo community after months of lockdown!
Congratulations to all the players especially the two who reached the final and battled out to bring the trophy at home!
Fabrizio Coco after 5 years the competition was born, finally took the trophy at home defeating Raffaele Lombard after a very tight and exciting game finished 0-0 at the normal time (Fabrizio won on penalties shots 3-2).
Thanks once again to everybody who attended and to Steve Dettre who set up the live stream, Well done mate!!!
Wishing everybody a safe and happy Christmas, see you at the next appointment in Willoughby in 2 weeks time for another WASPA tournament!"
A few days earlier, the club also held the monthly WASPA tournament of November. This time there was a smaller turnout of 5 players and Tony Credentino finished on top of the round robin with the same number of points as Fabrizio Coco but a few more goals scored! Congratulations to Tony!
