This Sunday six players from six different clubs met in the North of Italy to play the Brianza Cup. Competitors from Lombardia played with the old rules in a double round robin, which means every player had 10 games.

In the end, Vittorio de Pascale (Old Lions Macerata) was the winner of the day with 9 wins and a draw while Claudio Colpani (Papata Ponticino) was runner-up with 20 points, Federico Milan (Verona) third (18). other involed players were Carlo Beretta (Fortitudo Genova), Luca Rajna (Black Rose Roma) and Giancarlo Riva (Ligures Genova).

Congratulations to Vittorio for hosting and winning the event and welcome to thos who played their first WASPA tournament.

We are also glad to see the first games played under WASPA banner in Lamezia. Antonio Marullo won the first tournament held earlier this month with Giuseppe Andricciola being runner-up and Alessandro Corigliano finishing third.
