November TFAS League 2019
The final day of Singapore league 2019 session was graced by a good healthy numbers of players; where 10 players, the regulars + Luke Lim & veteran player, Chandru participating.
After 9 months of gruelling flicking, the last session was extra tense for the league leaders notably Anas & Rudy, who were tied on same points, hence making the final session a “winner takes it all” session .
The session; which adopted the swiss format (5 rounds) had both league leaders separated & seeing Chandru come back game, after a few years against Luca. There were “No giant killers” during the match ups, with the league decider determined as early in the 3rd round, where both club-mates, Anas & Rudy squared off. Their match was tight, with few chances created and only a solitary goal in the 1st half securing the win for Rudy who won the league & November WASPA; Anas, secured 2nd while Luca, spotted with his new bases squeeze thru 3rd spot with Isaac getting 4th (Refer to below for final standing).
Conclusion
In behalf of the TFAS League committee, we thank everyone who participated & supported our league; which may be small in numbers but high in energy & camaraderie among the players. Moving forward, we hope to have more enthusiast, flick & enjoy our game together with us.
November Standings:

Farrer Park January tournament
The Farrer Park Flickers held their first WASPA tournament of the year at their clubhouse at the Pek Kio Community Centre on Friday, 18 January 2019. Five flickers took part, four from the club (Anas Rahamat, Vikas Chandiramani, Mohamed Rizal Taib, and Nic Tan), and our usual guest, Enzo Fornaro, from the SG Lions Table Football Club.
Players played round robin matches in 20-minute games. Anas won his first three games, but a surprise 2-1 defeat to Rizal in his last round put his fate out of his hands as he sat out the last round and had to await the result of Vikas's last game against Enzo. Alas, Vikas could only manage a 3-0 win which was one goal short of what he needed to overtake Anas. Nic came in third after his 2-0 win over Rizal in the last round overtook Rizal on goal difference as well. Enzo came in last but put in some credible performances as he tried Tchaaa4 Sniper 2.0 bases for the first time, and make it difficult for all his opponents.
