| First tournament of the season in Bande (Belgium) |
The final days of October brought another busy spell on the WASPA circuit, with tournaments taking place in England, Belgium, the Netherlands and Italy. Players continued to collect valuable ranking points ahead of the next rankings update, while new and younger players were also given opportunities to experience competitive table football.
Particularly encouraging was a promotional event in Lamezia, Italy, aimed at junior players. Such initiatives are important for the continued growth of the game and demonstrate the commitment of local organisers to attracting the next generation of competitors.
In England, strong regional participation was seen at Stourbridge, while Finchampstead hosted a club WASPA featuring players from Finchampstead SC and Solent Subbuteo Club. Elsewhere, competitive regional events took place in Bande (Belgium), Gouda (Netherlands), Catanzaro (Italy) and Lamezia (Italy).
As always, organisers are reminded that it is not too late to send in missing WASPA results for inclusion in future updates and rankings calculations. Please send the complete tournament results, not just the winner and podium places.
