Last week-and was a date to remember for French table football with the organisation of the first WASPA tournament organized by the "Club football de table Subbuteo Saint Symphorien sur Coise". After a few years and a short experience in Puylaurens, this is hopefully the real start of WASPA tournaments in France. The event attracted 14 players divided in 2 categories. Mickael Blanc was the best of 9 Open players while Daniel Polsinellui was runner-up. There were also 5 juniors competing in a group format with the young boy Orlan (12 years old) winning all his games. This event was also a good training session before the forthcoming French championships to be held later in March.

Congratulations to the organizers; and well done to the club for being the first French club to be included in the WASPA Development League.
