Last week-end the Flaming Flickers held their tournament with the theme of the "Anglo-Italian Cup". 18 players competed in 2 categories. The modern rules tournament was dominated by Vassilis Dragossis (Sassuolo) who defeated Giorgos Evaggelou (Manchester United) in the final (1-0 in sudden death). Semi-finalists were Minas Kakiltakis (Leicester) and Filippos Vavoulakis (Millwall).
In the old rules section, Vaggelis Scotiniotis (Fulham) beat Antonis Krysilas (Juventus) in the sudden death of the final (3-2). Manos Tsardoulias (Brighton) and Kostas Filippopoulos (West Ham) made in to the semi-finals.
Congratulations to all the players, especially the 3 players who made their WASPA debut. Thanks to the organizers for taking some time for tha traditional pizza break.
