Last Saturday was a great day for subbuteo table football in Norway as it was the first tournament in the country since 2019. It was great to see two newcomers taking part (Destefanis and Stuart, both from the Subbuteo Oslo club) and also fantastic to see Kjetil Fosse making a comeback after 11 years away from the game. Norwegian legend Jon Henning Bergane won the event after beating Terje Ellefsen 3-2 in the final.
The "Romjulscup '21" was intended to be played in December '21 but was delayed about 2 months because of Covid-19.
Subbuteo Oslo posted videos from the tournament on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/subbuteoslo).
Finalist Terje Ellefsen commented the tournament with a big smile: "Yes, it was a very nice tournament. I think everyone was very happy to finally be able to play a tournament again after the covid-19 lockdown or strict restrictions! I personally was super happy to see some new players and one comeback player. Another big fact from this tournament is that with this victory Jon Henning Bergane is back at the prestigious number one spot in the Norwegian NBFF rankings (https://bordfotball.no/ranking)."
