Dear Subbuteo friends,
After some complicated weeks, we are happy to publish the updated results and rankings of the WASPA circuit after the 28 regional tournaments and the 6 old rules events held last month.

We had events in Australia, Austria, Belgium, England, Spain, Ireland, Italy, Malta, the Netherlands and South Africa and we can now say for the first time that more than 5000 players have taken part in WASPA events since the launch of the circuit in 2011.
In May, we will celebrate the 15 years of the WASPA circuit and we are extremely happy to see great developments in many nations.
We have seen that the big FISTF events have broken records this season with many players taking part and we see many names of players who started playing in WASPA tournaments, which proves WASPA has every reason to exist!
As for the rankings, we have a new leader in the Open ranking as Malcolm Jamieson (Scotland) from Worthing Fivestar has taken the top spot while Jason Christopher (England) from Solent Subbuteo Club is still the strong number 1 in the Season ranking.

Congratulations to Samuele Bignardi from Italy who is the solid leader of the junior table while his club of Club Rebels Genova is the number 1 junior club.
In the other clubs sections, there is a surprise in the Development League as Morecambe Bay SC is the new leader!
Special thanks finally to Giuseppe Tardiota (Australia) for his 50th win in a regional tournament. We must also congratulate Mark Farrell from Ireland (40 wins), Matthias Averlant from Belgium (30 wins) and Christophe Dheur from Belgium (20 wins).
