We are happy to come back with more news from WASPA events held all around the globe. We have been facing technical problems over the last 2 weeks but we are glad to say our database and important files are not lost (!). It took some time but we can keep our fans posted about recent results.

In Australia, the FISTF Grand prix was a success once again with players travelling from Singapore to meet a strong local field. Two WASPA events were held during the week-end. Johnny Ball won the consolation Plate event on Saturday while Brisbane's Giuseppe Tardiota took the best on Sunday in a tournament for players who were not involved in the team event.

We are also happy to receive news from New Zealand. There is a big change in the national organisation as not only NZ steps up as FISTF associate member but also the local group of players is now split into 2 different clubs: Auckland City Cosmos and the Falcons Flickers SC. The last two events held in NZ before the split had good turnouts of 10 and 9 players and winners were Conrad Mudge and Andy Shearer.
As for the first results of February, we are pleased to see great activity in several club. In Leicester, England 8 players attended the latest event with Richard Roper taking the best in the final on shots against Graham Hawroon; Jason Christooher finished on top of the Swiss table at the latest event in solent where a good filed of 14 players was taking part. The North Shields players were happy to have a decent turnout of 6 players for their monthly meet with Tom Heslop finishing on top of the table.
In the Netherlands, Jerrel van Keimpema was the best of the 7 players attending the latest Rijnmond tournament.
Finally, in Italy, there were several tournaments organized by our friends of Virtus Calabria. Vittorio Giummo took the honors two times in Catanzaro while Andrea Pagano was the best of the six players in Lamezia Terme.
