On Friday the club of Tournai held a WASPA tournament. Due to place restrictions, the event was held in Templeuve. There was a good field of 14 players and it was decided to play in Swiss system again. Only one player was undefeated as Geoffrey Marain, who was formely the president of the Tournai club, won his four games while three players finished the evening with 7 points. More importantly, it was a great evening for all players with many close games and even 9 draws! It was nice to have the second visit of the BX Subbuteo Club, a new club based in Brussels. There will be more action in the West of Belgium with the Templeuve United tournament next Friday. Welcome to all.
