December results from around the world

We keep on receiving results from around the global and many clubs have been playing tournaments in the last few days.

The "big event" in the recent records was played in Derry, Northern Ireland. This was the last stage of the Irish circuit and 10 players were taking part. Kenny Beggs was the expected winner after defeating local organizer Martinog Bradley in the final. Stephen McAllister won the Plate final. Thanks to the Derry players for a great day in a great venue.

Morecambe Bay players finished their November tournament, which was played as a league with Lee Hatfield taking the honors. The club will hold their first WASPA Open tournament on December 28.

In Italy, Marco Perotti was on a great night to win the old rules tournament in Terni. Three of the 5 players finished the night with 8 points but Marco was the decided winner on goal difference.

The Tralee players in Ireland had their monthly tournament and this time Cian Hogan was in a great night to win all his games. Congratulations.

The North Shields group had a limited turnout but players but Jeff Parsons was glad to win the latest club event.

Small events are always welcome and we are gland to see the Sports TFC of Western Australia in Perth holding their first tournament of the season. Hugh Best took the honors but more importantly it was Des Devine's debut in the circuit.

Finally, two events have been played in Belgium on Friday. In the East of Belgium, 8 players met in the premises of SC Verviers-Herve. It was good to see some old faces back to the game but in the end, Sébastien Scheen defeated his brother Pascal to claim the victory while Jean-Michel Cuenca won the consolation tournament. In the Westy of Belgium, Matthias Averlant finished on top of the Swiss system night organized by the Templeuve United club. It was the club's November WASPA and the Christmas tournament will be played on November 19.
