Derry City TFC held their third New Years Cup on Monday and it was a very successful event. 7 players competed in a league format with plenty of drama and good spirits shown on the night. Kenny ‘the legend’ Beggs returned to form to take the first place honours with Martinog Bradley finishing 2nd on goal difference ahead of Mark ‘the Moth’ McCrossan. Oisin Mor chalked up his first competitive victory with a 3-0 win over Paddy Simms.
