Claudio Murcilli wins two events in Rosario

This weekend the "City of Rosario" cup was celebrated in which 5 players participated with the Round Robin system (Home & Away).
It was a very nice day where almost all were natives of the city plus Mariano Di Luozzo, who traveled more than 300 kilometers to participate in the event against the best in the country and was with the expectation of achieving at least one point.
As expected, Claudio Murcilli won almost all of his matches except one against Sebastian Pesci, who came from a long period of inactivity and found it hard to get into rhythm.
After 10 turns, and a lot of camaraderie Claudio won the tournament and Mariano came back with a triumph in the seventh match played (when he convitió his only goal in the contest).
After the dinner Claudio Murcilli, Gonzalo Gómez and Mariano Di Luozzo played the "Gustavo Cerati" Cup (in honor of the deceased musician who had turned 8/11) with the same format as the previous tournament and again Claudio took the victory.
The day began at noon and ended exactly 12 hours later, being a true day of Subbuteo.

Juan Gonzalez wins first title in Argentina

On Sunday, May 13, the Buenos Aires International Open took place at the headquarters of the Hudson Table Soccer Club, where the consolation round was played under the concept of WASPA.
First Marcelo Rossi and Juan Gonzalez (debutant) settled the last place in the semi-finals in a game that should have been defined by shoot outs and it was Juan who managed to pass.

Already in semi-finales, Juan returned to win against another debutant, Hugo Senone, while in the other semi-final Brian Gonzalez and Santiago Torres disputed the other pass to the final. And the triumph was for the second in a very tight game.

Brian pulled the thorn of having lost and retaliated with a 4-0 win against Hugo and thus was left with the third place.

In the final Juan was surprised to win in the final to Santiago in what was his first Subbuteo tournament and thus was awarded his first title.

The first tournament in Rosario

On Saturday, August 19 was held in the vicinity of Rosario the open "Las Carolinas" a valid date for the circuit FISTF. All players who were eliminated before the semifinals of the tournament could choose to play the consolation tournament that added points for the WASPA circuit.
For the second tournament there were 6 players who were distributed in the box according to their final location in the main event.
In the first round, Norberto Martinez managed to advance to the next round after beating Martín Gallimó in shoot-outs. On the other key Marcelo Rossi managed to beat Brian Gonzalez (who debuted in Subbuteo tournaments) 2-0
In the next round were added Mariano Di Luozzo and Sebastián Pesci. The first confronted Norberto, in what is already a derby of the city of Buenos Aires by the number of times they faced and by the great parity between them. Mariano managed to advance to the final after winning by shoots-out (again). For his part Marcelo returned to win and also qualified for the final.
For the fifth place, Martín Gallimó took advantage of the inexperience of Brian and was left with the victory. Norberto also beat Sebastian and took third place.
