Anas Rahamat wins 2018 Xmas tournament in Singapore

The final tournament in the Singapore Table Football calendar with SG Ranking points took place on December 30, 2018 at the Singapore Sports Hub Library. The Xmas Cup was organized under the banner of SG Lions Table Football Club and saw a turnout of 16 players.

The 16 players were randomly drawn into 4 groups of 4 players each for the round-robin Group Stage. The top 2 in each Group qualified for the Cup quarter-finals while the bottom 2 competed in the Plate quarter-finals.  Each player gets at least 4 games.

Groups A & B were particularly tough with Rudy & Den emerging as Group winners respectively; while Kok Wee had the edge in a 3-cornered fight and Anas also qualifying for the Cup quarters.  Group C saw recently-crowned Merlion Cup Open Champion winning the Group; and youngster Isaac (reigning Merlion Cup U19 Champion) pulling-off an upset against Rizal to join Michael in the quarters.  New young player Vikkram from Kebun Bahru TFC won Group D; alongside Adam also from Kebun Bahru TFC.

In the Cup Final, Anas continued his domination of the local table football scene to win 2-0 over Den Mulia to win the Xmas Cup!!  While in the Plate Final, Bernard defeated Vikas 3-1 to win the consolation final.
