The first Trieste Cup played under WASPA banner took place on March 31 with a good field of 9 players. In the end, as predicted, Eric Benvenuto was the winner with a perfect defensive line. Benvenuto defeated Davorin Korosec in the final. Paolo Volpi defeated Furio Segnani in the game for the third place. The players wanted to congratulate te young Diego Giorio for his commitment and his father Guido for the excellent organization. it was also worth to report the good performance of Vito Truglio, who only alsmot managed to qualify for the semi-finals. All players are now going to continue to practice as there will be another tournament in a couple of weeks.
