| Daniel Cranston receives trophy from Bryan Arnold |
The Heatwave of Pennsylvania 2019 tournament was held in Avondale, Pennsylvania on Saturday, July 20th. Six players competed for this summer's title: Daniel Cranston, Gregg Deinhart, Andrew Zunino, Bryan Arnold, Braden Deinhart, and Nick Deinhart. The tournament was Daniel's first competitive action since May but he was excellent throughout. Daniel won the final against Gregg, 2-1, in a match of awesome flicking and tactics from both players. Andrew and Bryan were semifinalists: Andrew lost in a close match to Daniel, 0-2; Bryan lost to Gregg for the second match on the day with a score of 0-1. Congratulations to both Braden and Nick Deinhart on a great barrage final ,which ended as a draw, 0-0, after regular time and overtime, with Nick winning the shootout 0-2. Graceful competition and comradery abounded throughout the day. Thank you to Andrew Zunino for hosting the event.
