Howard Christie winner in Toronto

Toronto Subbuteo Club recently held a tournament with a great turnout of 8 players. This was the biggest tournament since the rebirth of "Subbuteo Canada". Among the competitors, there were two players from the Montreal club. The first round consisted in a Swiss system round of three games for all with knock-outs games in the second round. Howard Christie took the honors after defeating local organizer Mike Sgro in the final (2-1). Martin Charlebois and Mike Chieffallo made it to the semi-finals.

Besides the tournament, Mike Sgro announced "Club de Subbuteo de Montréal" is up and running with the help of LeWine Hunter and Toronto Subbuteo Club is moving its tournament location to Markham.
