On December 3, just before the FISTF tournament held in the same venue, there was a WASPA tournament in Yokohama with 16 players from different ages (between 11 and 55). Taichi Kato (Yokohama OSC) defeated Singapore's Issac Lim from Singapore Lions in the final. Katsuhiko Fukuoka (OSC Yamato) and Makoto Miyake (Yokohama OSC) were the semi-finalists.
