Mcnulty takes out 3rd title in a row in Perth clean sweep

The players
The latest Subbuteo Perth Open was held on July 24.

Standings
1. Ross McNulty 8 0 0 32 1 24
2. Chris Thorn 4 1 3 8 4 13
3. Julien Scheinok 3 1 4 6 18 10
4. Hugh Best 1 3 4 2 13 6
5. Thomas Scheinok 1 1 6 1 13 4

Ross Mcnulty reported: "Special thanks to the Scheinok brothers in Julien and Thomas who really helped make it such a special day as we hosted our first tournament for oversees players. Both brothers acquitted themselves very well and the main thing was they both notched wins and fiercely competed against us. Notable results were Hugh Best's opening win against Chris Thorn in a 1-0 win, also Julien had bragging rights over his brother Thomas in a 3-0 win and a 1-0 win although Thomas did himself proud as he finally claimed a win with a 1-0 defeat of Hugh Best in his penultimate game. Chris Thorn did his best to try and keep pace with a rampant Ross McNulty but ultimately he ran away with the title winning every game and conceding just 1 goal in the 8-1 thrashing of a tired Julien in his last game."
