The club of Attard recently held their first WASPA tournament after a long hyatus. 12 players were taking part, competing in four groups of three players and then a knock-out stage. Nicolai Bugeja, who is 15 years old, claimed the trophy after defeating Joseph M. Debono (who is much more experienced). Miguel Zahra and Nigel Spiteri reached the semi-finals.
