Here is a quick look in the mirror after the many events held in England in July and August. 26 regional tournaments and 3 events played with the old rules were played in many different clubs. Some events had a really big turnout and we were glad to see FISTF events organising plate tournaments under WASPA banner.
We see new clubs taking part (South Devon SC, Stourbridge,...) and a lot of new players, which is fantastic.
Amont the 892 players who competed in the WASPA circuit this season, we had 264 coming from England, which proves England remains the power of the WASPA circuit.
We really hope the bif developments in the English Subbuteo Association and the great work between the ESA Board, the English clubs and WASPA will be a source of inspiration for many other nations!
