a new season has started and we are happy to see many players being excited to attend WASPA events. September saw tournaments held in England, the Netherlands, Belgium, Australia, Italy, Germany, Ireland, Malta, Romania and Serbia. We had a total of 27 tournaments, which included 25 regional events, 1 tournament with the old rules and 1 of the brand new "Club WASPA" held by our friends from Solent in England.

A new season means a lot of changes and we notice a few important points in the rankings:

- Ian Aggett is still number 1 in the rolling ranking;

- for the first time for a while, the leader of the season ranking doesn't come from England but from the Netherlands as Casey van Os managed to win 2 tournaments in September;

- in the junior ranking, the new season mean players born in 2008 are removed from the ranking and the new leader is Italy's Samuele Bignardi;

- in the rankings of clubs, after the promotions and relegations of the last few weeks, there will be a strong fight between English clubs in the top clubs sections while Club Rebels Genova from Italy are the leaders in the Development League and North Shields STF is on top of the Conference League.

A good turnout in Karlsruhe, Germany

A new season also means some players changed clubs. If you see mistakes in the rankings, please send a message to vincentcoppenolle@gmail.com

Congratulations to Geoffrey Marain who won his 150th WASPA tournament a few days ago.
