Here is a quick look at the recent tournaments held in Belgium.
The Templeuve United tournament on November 28 had a smaller turnout than expected with 6 players competing in a league format and Geoffrey marain taking the honors to claim his 92nd WASPA victory while Matthias Averlant was a well-deserved runner-up. Jordan Bonte won the Junior tournament after defeating Islam Belahcen int he final.
In Bande, there were six players competing on November 29 with Rémy Honet (JSC Rochefort) taking the honors to claim his very first WASPA title. Jean Grosdent was runner-up while Henrin Grosdent was a surprising third.
Last Monday the December tournament in the premises of SC Flanders had another field of six with Geert Leys taking the victory of the day and Frank Lannoy being runner-up.
Finally, the Warcoing Ducks tournament on December 5 had an amazing field of 15 competing in Swiss system. Geoffrey marain had no pain winning another tournament but this time runner-up was Michaël Dupret (who will attend the FISTF tournament in Japan next week) and Junior Corentin Boltz from AS Hennuyer took the third place.
