Marain and Grosdent winners in Belgium
On Wednesday the "Warcoing Ducks" were holding a WASPA tournament with a good field of 10 players taking part. The event was played in Swiss system wtih geoffrey Marain taking the honors once again. Two players ended the evening with the same number of points and the same goal difference. Matthias Averlant defeated Vincent Coppenolle on shots to finish runner-up. Corentin Boltz did a good job to finish in 4th position. other ranked players were Michaël Dupret (5), Eric Caillaux (6), Steffen Despretz (7), Benjamin Marain (8), André Boltz (9) and U15 player Arthur Clique (10). for some of the players it was a good way to prepare for the forthcoming FISTF grand prix of Belgium to be played this week-end.
The club of Bande also had a small WASPA regional tournament with four players only but some good games. jean Grosdent took the honors while Philippe Thys was runner-up. Henrin Grosdent and Aurore Grosdent were the other players taking part.
Here is the update of the national "challenge WASPA Belgium" after the 6 events held in belgium in September.
