The Edinburgh Golazzo Subbuteo Club held a smaller, yet still enjoyable league format in October, with Marco Bevilacqua claiming the prize after coming out on top.
New young gun, Arthur Kent, continues to be improving all the time and scored a fantastic goal to almost claim a point against Paul McFadyen, who also came close to taking a point off reigning champ, Marco, who scraped a 2-1 victory in the final minutes.
Marco and Bruce then went into the final game tied on 9 points each, but Marco showed his experience coming out on top 3-0.
Marco commented, "This is why we love the WASPA circuit. Enjoyable, friendly games and the flexibility to host a tournament in a club members house. We've had a few difficulties with venues, so it's great to be able to continue to play and help bring on future Subbuteo players just round at someone's house."
